This Site is owned by Catasym, Inc. incorporated in Colorado, USA. The software facilitating operation of the site is leased from Mylisting, Inc. incorporated in Colorado, USA.

This Privacy Policy describes in detail the information that we collect from you (or User) as part of the normal operation of our service, and what may happen to the information we collect. Our parent, subsidiaries and joint ventures operate under similar privacy practices as described in this Privacy Policy and, subject to the requirements of applicable law, we strive to provide a consistent set of privacy practices throughout the global Catasym trading community.

You agree that your use of the Site signifies your assent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the terms of the Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy is effective upon acceptance in registration for new registering Users, and is otherwise effective on January 1, 2011 for all Users.


When you visit Site you may provide us with two types of information: personal information (Personal Information) you voluntarily choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis and Web site use information (Website Information) collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our Site.

o When you register for services you will provide us information about yourself such as Full Name, Gender, Location and Address.
o If you choose to avail of our services and establish a credit account with us to pay the fees we charge, you may need to give personal information and authorization to obtain information from various credit services. For example, you may need to provide the following information:

o If you choose to bid, buy or sell on the Site, we would collect information about your bidding, buying and selling behavior. We also collect other Users' comments about you in our feedback area.

o If you choose to post messages on our message boards, chat rooms or other message areas or leave feedback for other Users, we will collect that information you provide to us. We retain this information as necessary as to resolve disputes, provide customer support and troubleshoot problems as permitted by law.

o If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other Users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the Site, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.

o If you register for the Site on another web site or use a web site providing a service for Catasym or a web site that helps facilitate your activity on the Site, that web site may provide personal information about you and your transactions back to us.

The Workspace area of the Site is for the benefit of Users. The private and shared Workspace areas of the Site facilitate communication and the exchange and sharing of information between buyers and sellers once a bid has been accepted. The information contained in private Workspaces shared between buyers and sellers is not used for any purposes other than to facilitate communication and the exchange of information between the parties involved. Catasym reserves the right to monitor communications in the Workspace in order to verify compliance with our Terms of Use, international, federal or state laws and/or our other stated policies.


We do not share, sell, lend or lease any of the information that uniquely identify a User or subscriber (such as email addresses or personal details) with anyone except to the extent it is necessary to process transactions or provide services that you have requested.

We may also use your information to deliver information to you that, in some cases, are targeted to your interests, such as new services and promotions. The following are examples of some categories of persons to whom we would share your information with from time-to-time.

We may also share your personal information with:

- Third party service providers such as PayPal, Google Checkout,, ACH Direct etc. to provide combined services (like registration, transactions and customer support), to help detect and prevent potentially illegal acts and violations of our policies, and to guide decisions about their products, services and communications. Members of our corporate family will use this information to send you marketing communications only if you’ve requested their services.

- Service providers under contract who help our business operations (such as fraud investigations, bill collection, affiliate and rewards programs and co-branded credit cards).

- Other third parties to whom you explicitly ask us to send your information (or about whom you are otherwise explicitly notified and consent to when using a specific service (such as Facebook Connect)).

Notwithstanding the above, we reserve the right to disclose your Personal Information to appropriate third parties if we are required to do so by law or we believe that such action is necessary: to comply with legal process such as a search warrant or court order; to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our Site.

In the event that Mylisting or Catasym merges or is acquired by another company, all current information Catasym has will be shared with the other company. MyListing or Catasym will do its best to inform you of the transaction.


We don't sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We may combine your information with information we collect from other companies and use it to improve and personalize our services, content and advertising. If you don't wish to receive marketing communications from us or participate in our ad-management programs, simply indicate your preference in your account profile on your personal site or by following the directions provided with the communication or advertisement.


To enhance your online experience and for your convenience and assistance Catasym has provided for Customer Care and Account Manager services. While interacting with a Customer Service Representative or an Account Manager, we ensure that your sensitive and financial details are encrypted. We ensure that only those details shall be disclosed to them which are necessary for their services or to answer your queries or any such services.


The Catasym Payment Service requires User to pay with a credit card, wire transfer, ACH or debit card or check. Catasym will collect your credit card number and/or other entered financial institution information such as bank account numbers and will use that information to bill your membership fee, including but not limited to the use and disclosure of such credit card number and information to third parties as necessary to complete such billing operation. Verification of credit information, however, is accomplished solely by the User through the authentication process.

Although, Catasym encourages sellers to sell directly to buyers and collect cash payments, at events where cash payments is not plausible, Catasym encourages users to use PayPal or Google Checkout by integrating these payment processors into your shopping cart. When you use the ‘shopping cart’, we will share your personal information as necessary for third parties to provide these services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.


Occasionally, Catasym conducts a User survey to collect information about our Users' preferences. These surveys are optional and if you choose to respond, your responses will be kept anonymous. Similarly, we may offer contests to qualifying Users in which we ask for contact and demographic information such as name, email address and mailing address. None of this information is shared with third parties, except in summary form, if at all. The demographic information that Catasym collects in the registration process and through surveys is used to help us improve our Services to meet the needs and preferences of our Users. This may include targeting advertising to you about our Services. Information we gather through a contest may also be disclosed to third parties as necessary for prize fulfillment and other aspects of any contest or similar offering.


Catasym may send updates of new service or product offerings to Users via email or SMS. We ensure that your email address or phone number shall not be misused or disclosed to third parties for any purposes other than mentioned herein. If you no longer wish to receive updates or notifications you may opt-out of receiving these communications by changing your email notification settings in your account settings or sending an SMS to the ‘opt-out’ number/s mentioned in the SMS.


Your User ID is displayed throughout Catasym, and is connected to all of your Catasym activity. Your bids, purchases, items for sale, storefronts, feedback, ratings and associated comments are public as well. Notices sent to other community members about suspicious activity and policy violations on our sites refer to User IDs and specific items. So if you associate your name with your User ID, the people to whom you have revealed your name will be able to personally identify your Catasym activities.

If you access our sites from a shared computer or a computer in an internet café, certain information about you, such as your User ID, activity or reminders from Catasym, may also be visible to other individuals who use the computer after you.


In order to help interaction among all Catasym community members, our Site allows you to access other Users' contact information. Further, as a seller you will be sent via email the User ID, email address and other information of the winning bidder(s), and as a winning bidder you will be sent via email the User ID, email address and other information of the seller. By entering into our Terms of Use, you agree that, with respect to other user's personally identifiable information that you obtain through the Site or through a Catasym -related communication or Catasym -facilitated transaction, Catasym hereby grants to you a license to use such information only for:

(a) Catasym-related communications that are not unsolicited commercial messages,

(b) using co-branded services offered through Catasym (e.g. insurance, shipping and fraud complaints), and

(c) any other purpose that such user expressly opts into after adequate disclosure of the purpose(s).In all cases, you must give Users an opportunity to remove themselves from your database and a chance to review what information you have collected about them.

In addition, under no circumstances, except as defined in this Section, can you disclose personally identifiable information about another user to any third party without our consent and the consent of such other user after adequate disclosure.


Catasym and our Users do not tolerate spam. Therefore, without limiting the foregoing, you are not licensed to add a Catasym user-even a user who has purchased an item from you-to your mail list (email or physical mail) without their express consent after adequate disclosure.


When you place orders or access your account information, we offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you put in before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure correct use of information, we will employ reasonable and current Internet security methods and technologies.

Your information is stored on our servers located in the United States. We are committed to protecting the information we receive from you. Catasym is not responsible for the privacy policies and/ or practices on other sites. When linking to another site a user/Member should read the privacy policy stated on that site. This privacy policy only applies to information collect by Catasym.


Advertisements appearing on this Site may be delivered to Users by Catasym or one of our Web advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. Doing this allows the advertising partners to recognize your computer each time they send you an advertisement. In this way, they may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which advertisements are clicked. This information allows an advertising partner to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. Catasym does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third party advertising servers of ad partners.

This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by Catasym and does not cover the use of cookies by any of its advertisers.


As we continue to grow our businesses and improve our services, we reserve the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If there are changes or additions, we will post those changes here or in other formats we deem acceptable, so that you are aware of such changes. If this Privacy Policy changes in such a way that your personally identifiable information may be used or shared in a different manner, you will be given the opportunity to opt-out of having your information used or shared in that new manner. You may terminate your membership with us at any time either by downgrading your account or canceling it by following the instructions in the ‘account settings’ section of your profile/account. If you terminate your membership, your Personal Information cannot be recovered. After termination of your membership, your Personal Information may remain on our archived database and records.
